One of the most romantic places in India, Udaipur is situated around the shimmering clear blue water lakes, which whisper the mood of a bygone era. The tranquil pilgrimage town of the Jains renowned for some marvellously carved Jain temples in amber stone, RANAKPUR temples BUILT IN 15th century AD- one of the five holy places of the Jain community. An astounding creation with 29 halls and 1,444 pillars - all distinctly carved. KUMBHALGARH - a virtually inaccessible 15th century fort, is situated off the beaten track. Its location is its greatest advantage and perhaps the only reason of it being where it is.

AM leave for Kumbhalgarh through country roads. Visit the fort. Overnight
AM leave for Ranakpur. Visit the temples.
